01Construction planning scope
West Vancouver publishes Traffic Management Plan requirements for building projects meeting its criteria. Check the current requirements with the District and describe the construction activity, occupied space and access needs before arranging the on-site setup.
02Street occupancy arrangements
The District’s Street Occupancy Request form (PDF) addresses use of street space. Send the proposed footprint and any approval you already hold. Clarify what space is needed for equipment, deliveries or temporary parking and how long each use will last.
03Review nearby traffic impacts
West Vancouver’s Traffic Updates page lists District and partner-agency work. Check relevant nearby activity when planning access and deliveries, and tell us about known restrictions. A published traffic notice is information about other work, not authorization for your own occupation.
04Agree the daily setup
Provide the work limits, access points, shift times and contact responsible for the site. Explain whether the occupied area stays in place between shifts or is removed each day. Share the accepted plan and conditions so personnel and equipment bookings match the agreed arrangement.
05Arrange the right services
NORTHSTAR offers BCCSA-certified traffic control personnel, lane closure technicians and trucks, and TMP and permit support. Explain your activity and existing plan so we can discuss the personnel, equipment and supervision required. Confirm the scope and applicable approvals before work starts.
06Request a West Vancouver quote
Request a quote with the full address, work description, requested dates, daily hours and site contact. Mention any existing plans or permit conditions. Call (604) 217-2915 for 24/7 dispatch and current availability. A quote enquiry does not reserve a crew or guarantee permit approval.
