01City or District?
The City of North Vancouver and District of North Vancouver have separate permit processes. Provide the full address and identify the jurisdiction before requesting road-use support. A North Vancouver postal address alone does not tell the project team which municipal application or conditions apply.
02City street-use permits
For a City location, consult the City’s Street-Use Permits page, which includes application resources and a traffic management plan checklist. Share the relevant checklist, plan and submitted or issued permit reference when arranging traffic control services.
03District temporary street use
For a District location, the temporary street-use permit application (PDF) describes traffic management/control planning when required by the District. Confirm the current requirements with the District and identify any notification or parking-clearance arrangements associated with your work.
04Coordinate access and staging
Describe the road space occupied, site access points, delivery movements and pedestrian routes. If your project includes work in both jurisdictions, list each address and its separate schedule. Do not assume permission or a layout for one location transfers to another.
05Arrange the right services
NORTHSTAR offers BCCSA-certified traffic control personnel, lane closure technicians and trucks, and TMP and permit support. Explain your activity and existing plan so we can discuss the personnel, equipment and supervision required. Confirm the scope and applicable approvals before work starts.
06Request a North Vancouver quote
Request a quote with the full address, work description, requested dates, daily hours and site contact. Mention any existing plans or permit conditions. Call (604) 217-2915 for 24/7 dispatch and current availability. A quote enquiry does not reserve a crew or guarantee permit approval.
