01Confirm the road authority
Mission’s Roads & Transportation information notes that its road network includes municipal and provincially maintained routes. Provide the exact location and confirm which authority manages the affected road before assuming the municipal application is the right starting point.
02Street-use and closure information
The City’s Road Closures page links to Street Use and Extraordinary Traffic permit applications and displays information based on approved closure permits. Use those resources to identify the relevant application and known nearby closures; they do not establish approval for your own work.
03Describe the site approach
Include the direction of travel, nearest intersection, work limits and access point used by equipment. Tell us whether the crew will remain in one position or move along the road. A marked layout helps distinguish the occupied work area from the space required for approaching traffic.
04Coordinate the sequence
For work at several Mission addresses, list the intended order and timing rather than giving one general location. Share existing drawings, permit references and the site contact. Flagging, equipment and planning support can then be discussed against each work stage and its access needs.
05Arrange the right services
NORTHSTAR offers BCCSA-certified traffic control personnel, lane closure technicians and trucks, and TMP and permit support. Explain your activity and existing plan so we can discuss the personnel, equipment and supervision required. Confirm the scope and applicable approvals before work starts.
06Request a Mission quote
Request a quote with the full address, work description, requested dates, daily hours and site contact. Mention any existing plans or permit conditions. Call (604) 217-2915 for 24/7 dispatch and current availability. A quote enquiry does not reserve a crew or guarantee permit approval.
