01Road and sidewalk works
Describe whether the Chilliwack project affects a vehicle lane, a sidewalk or both. Send the work limits, equipment footprint and proposed dates. For a moving work zone or staged utility job, identify the changes in location so the crew and setup are planned for each stage.
02Highway works applications
Chilliwack’s Highway Works Application and Permit page covers work on roads and sidewalks and lists traffic management documentation. Use that page to check the City’s current application requirements and the permit status before confirming the on-site work window.
03Check nearby closures
The City’s highway works page also links to traffic notifications for active road and lane closure permits. Review relevant nearby activity when preparing your schedule and tell us about known overlapping work. Another project’s permit does not authorize your own closure or replace a site-specific review.
04Coordinate construction access
Include the access points used by workers, suppliers and people passing the site. Let us know whether the work needs repeated deliveries or a changing equipment position. Share the accepted plan and any timing conditions so the traffic control booking reflects the actual construction sequence.
05Arrange the right services
NORTHSTAR offers BCCSA-certified traffic control personnel, lane closure technicians and trucks, and TMP and permit support. Explain your activity and existing plan so we can discuss the personnel, equipment and supervision required. Confirm the scope and applicable approvals before work starts.
06Request a Chilliwack quote
Request a quote with the full address, work description, requested dates, daily hours and site contact. Mention any existing plans or permit conditions. Call (604) 217-2915 for 24/7 dispatch and current availability. A quote enquiry does not reserve a crew or guarantee permit approval.
